"God bless you," Norah my roommate said for the millionth time. She must have been so annoyed with me sneezing and being sick.
 
"Thank you," I said and softly blew my nose.
 
I had stayed at Dillon's funeral and candlelight vigil a lot longer than everyone and had gotten sick.
 
It had been about a week since it happened and now two more were dead. While I kind of used Dillon while he was alive half of me couldn't help but feel sad. Lately all I had been doing was staying inside and watching the rain, and barely making it to class.
 
"You should come to the Gala tonight," Norah suggested.
 
"I might," I said distantly.
 
It had been a week since I experimented with different chemicals, my favorite thing to do. I really must have been depressed.
 
"Oh come on," you'll have fun, Norah tried to persuade.
 
"No you'll have fun. You have a boyfriend now, mine is dead."
 
She looked down defeated.
 
"Well it's in a few hours, just let me know if you're going." she shrugged and went to get ready.
 
I went in the bathroom and took a long quiet bubble bath and then managed to slip on a plain black dress. That was about as much as i could manage to dress up right now.
 
"You look great!" Norah complimented. "So does this mean your going?"
 
"Yeah yeah sure," I said adding a few last minute cirls in my hair from the iron as Norah squealed excitedly. We walked in the cold as I coughed and coughed, and we finally reached the gala.
 
It was so crowded and I immediately wanted to go back to the dorm. Norah ditched me and ran to her boyfriend while I stayed there alone.
 
"Hi Julia," a girl from my class greeted me, so sorry for your loss."
 
"Thanks," I mumbled. This was why I didn't want to go out. I went to sit down and had a few drinks to try and take the edge off. An extremely good looking guy sat down next to me.
 
"Why so sad?"
 
"I'm fine," I lied and rolled my eyes. Was so not in the mood to get hit on. Then again i did need another guy I could use for various things....
 
"What did you say your name was I asked?" Maybe this night would be better than I thought...

Last night I had a dream about the perfect combination of chemicals that would make something so powerful I would strike it rich. Well richer. Rich wasn't the main goal though, I wanted to be famous for what I created, notorious. I will be one day, and then everyone will know my name.

The bouncer let me into the concert once he saw my face, that was the easy part. Pushing my tiny body in front of the crowd to see my boyfriend rock out, now that would be hard. He has made it so big, I am so proud of him, but when is that gonna be me?
 
"Excuse me, where did you buy that bag? It's adorable!" a preppy blonde girl asked me.
 
"Made it myself," I proudly answered.
 
"Oh wow, how much would one of those cost?"
 
"$500 and I'll give you the thing right now."
 
"We have a deal," the blonde girl agreed. I took my cell and wallet out of my bag, stuffed it into my jean pockets and gladly handed it over in exchange for my rent money.
 
I knew my mom would probably offer me rent money either way but this felt a lot better, just being on my own.

Thomas the farmboy a few miles away managed to sneak out of my bed before my oddball Remy (who rises at the buttcrack of dawn) could see him. Or maybe she did see him, you never knew with her. It was 9 am and I was hoping one of my friends would prepare some good eggs and bacon for me, I had such a wicked hangover from last night. I rolled out of bed in my Victoria secret Pink boyshorts and tee and put on my adorable new Juicy Couture robe that my mom had recently sent me in the mail. Love the alimony check from dad.
 
Next week is going to be my birthday and the girls are still talking about Gracie's murder. Won't everyone just forget about it? I mean yeah, she was a nice girl, but she's dead and theres more important things to worry about, like me for instance.
 
Today I am going sailing, hopefully some boys will come. Thank God my hot roomate Remy won't go because everytime they see her all eyes go on HER and not me, thats not cool.
 
I really need a manicure and pedicure but since my parents sent me to the place in the middle of nowhere I haven't found a good salon yet. I hope that my Tory Burch dress from Los Angeles arrives in the mail soon. Actually its a knock off, but the girls don't know that.
 
They can be so stupid! I know they all envy my wardrobe, but all I do is go on bluefly.com and switch out my clothes so everything is always new. I hope they don't find out what I'm doing. If I'm going to be here than I am going to be the most glamorous popular girl around no matter what it takes!
